The scanner is used as a means of extending time. Through scanography of 35mm photographs of flowers at varying stages of their life cycle, images are elongated beyond their original form, suspending moments that would otherwise pass. The work reflects an attachment to life within the inevitability of entropy, where growth, decay, and disorder exist as continuous cycles rather than fixed states.
