A daffodil, stripped of its natural softness and rebuilt in Joe’s distinctive layered style. The petals are stark, rendered in black and white with bold, graphic linework that reflects the raw immediacy of street art. At its centre, a stylised face emerges-its curved smile textured like the seedbed of a real flower, its eyes crossed out in a familiar visual shorthand, whilst simultaneously carrying a quiet echo of Joe’s recurring character, Demoncat, whose presence can be found in paste-ups and stickers in various places across the world.
