Dense jungle vegetation pushes through the architecture of a collector’s interior. A woman stands firmly within the room beside a black panther and a soucouyant's hand. She meets the viewer’s gaze without hesitation, occupying the space with quiet authority as the boundaries between domestic order and untamed growth dissolve.

I have been creating since childhood, but I returned to my practice with renewed intention around four years ago.
I create in order to make visible what is often felt but not easily articulated, and to produce works that remain alive through repeated viewing. I am interested in paintings that continue to reveal themselves, offering new conversations over time. Drawing on Afro-Caribbean folklore, memory, and lived experience, my practice constructs symbolic, psychologically charged worlds in which identity, vulnerability, and inner tension are continuously negotiated.
